At bath time we normally use one of those neoprene type bath visors to wash baby L's hair. While practical and much needed these visors start to smell quite funky after a while even with many washes. So we were excited to get a chance to try out the Lil Rinser, a new shampoo shield on the market to protect your little one from getting water and shampoo in their eyes. This great dad invented product was made when he needed a better solution for washing his kids hair. It's made of a sturdy plastic that doesn't retain a smell after multiple baths. It took about a month for baby L to warm up to the Lil Rinser. After daily attempts to place it on his head that were constantly turned down by a very angry babe one day he finally agreed and it's been smooth sailing ever since. To be fair baby L does not like change and has been using his stinky bath visor since he was only a few months old but now that he understands why I am trying to stick a foreign object on his head we have no objections. I am so happy with Lil Rinser and have even been able to retire our old stinky visor. My only complaint would be that you have to use one hand to hold the visor on your child's head and pour water with the other leaving you with no hands to tousle your child's hair under the stream of water if your child has very thick hair but this has of yet to be a problem for us.
The Lil Rinser comes in 4 great color options and retails at a reasonable $9.99US. You can purchase your own Lil Rinser directly from their US based online site, they ship to both the US and Canada.
