Toto Knits carries beautifully handmade sweaters, blankets, booties, purses, bags and hats all ethically made in Kenya. The products are knit by a local group of women who live just outside Nairobi to help support their family. Products come in cotton or wool. They locally grow and spin the cotton and the wool is also locally spun and dyed. Baby L has the sweetest lion sweater from them complete with mane,ears and tail made of cotton. I have never seen a cuter site than my little lion roaming around the house. The sweater washes quite nicely and I chose to hang it to dry just in case of any shrinkage. I would order a size up though as they tend to run on the small side a bit.
